Counsellor and Coach, Noa Brume, works in English in The Hague and online (via Skype).
Since 2005, she has been working with parents who lost their babies during pregnancy or lost a young baby right after birth. Noa came to this field initially from personal experience but later on from the realisation that the subject of pregnancy loss is such a taboo that many people feel very lonely when such thing happens to them, and there’s really not much acceptance around, or people to talk to, let alone when you’re not speaking the local language.
For this reason Noa opened a support group for parents who lost their babies; this is a place where you can share your story, be listened to, never being judged and get the strength you need in such difficult times.
The meetings are informal and although there’s a topic each time, there’s always a lot of room for discussion and more.
Examples of topics:
- The ways I remember my baby/pregnancy
- How to get through this as a couple (and stay together)
- How to ask for help
- and many more…
It doesn’t matter when or how you’ve lost your baby, if you feel that this is something which might help you, please come along.
When: Mondays, 20:00-22:00
