Katherine Fortier is a Child and Educational Psychologist in a busy private practice within the Archipel Counselling Psychology and Family Services centre in The Hague. A mother of three, she moved from Canada to The Netherlands in 1997 and took on the direction of Passionate Parenting in January 2013 from founder Soul Robertson.
Professionally, Katherine provides psychological assessments, parent guidance, and child and adolescent psychotherapy for international children but is also enthusiastic about positive prevention and well-being promotion and in that spirit has become a popular speaker for Passionate Parenting on a variety of subjects from Raising Confident Children to Sibling Rivalry and more.
Jane works with Katherine Fortier at Archipel Counselling Psychology and Family Services as Office Manager and assists with the administration of the Passionate Parenting events.
Jane relocated to the Netherlands in 1990 and worked at the British Embassy in The Hague for 20 years. She has two children who both attend the BSN, a teenage boy and a girl of six. She has attended Passionate Parenting events regularly since 2008.
Previously a pharmacist working abroad and here in The Netherlands at The International Health Centre, Rawia Liverpool is now a Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy and Hypnosis. She has her own private practice Recipes 4 Change in The Hague of which she has been a resident since 2001. Rawia has two daughters, a teenager at The British School and an older daughter currently at University in the UK.
A multi-lingual world citizen, Vinita is an on location natural light lifestyle portrait photographer endeavouring to capture glimpses of family lives. She currently resides in Gouda, The Netherlands. Having travelled extensively and lived in three countries, Vinita has always been fascinated by people and photography. Vinita’s working philosophy is based on her perceptions and feelings, which have been polished and honed through her diverse international experiences. Through Vinita Salomé Photography, she pools her love of photography with her every day experiences as a mother, and her innate interest in people to capture the extraordinary flashes in the ordinary moments of our everyday lives.
Having moved from the UK to The Netherlands to pursue a career in IT Security and Forensics, Natalie’s profession took a different turn when she discovered her love of photography. She started her photography business in 2008 and now specialises in Birth Story Photography; silently joining you during labour and birth to document unique and special moments of connection, strength and love in beautiful black-and-white storytelling images. Natalie also offers pregnancy and newborn baby photo sessions, and is a regional photographer for the A Body Beautiful Project (specialising in photographing pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding and motherhood). A mother of two young daughters, Natalie volunteers for several family and parenting related initiatives, including Passionate Parenting, and works part time at the Women’s Business Initiative International as the Office Manager.
